The UC Centre for Global Experience supports and develops the global awareness of UC students and contributes to the internationalisation of the University of Canterbury. The Centre hosts events and activities for students and staff across the University and is a facilitator of international experiences and programmes. Our goal is to enable all UC students and staff to participate and engage with international activities, programmes and experiences, and for international students and visitors to engage productively with the Canterbury community.

Thailand Internship 2018 main image

The Thailand internship experience is a unique programme that provides a learning experience that cannot be found in a typical lecture theatre.
The course comprises of a six-week internship programme run over the summer from January to February 2019, organised in collaboration with Mahidol University Bangkok. The course provides an opportunity to gain valuable experience living and working in an international and intercultural environment. The programme also involves educational visits to significant cultural and historic sites across Thailand.
