Congratulations to Ed Harvey, founder of EVNEX and graduate of the Department, on winning one of Vodafone's xone awards.

Ed's Christchurch-based company EVNEX is working on devices allowing people to manage electricity demand controlled via cellphones and computers, in the same way some other household devices can be remotely controlled.

He is an electrical engineer trained at UC with early experience working at Dynamic Controls in Christchurch before setting up EVNEX.
