Professor Ian Wright, Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Research and Innovation) opened proceedings, and Professor Jon Harding, Dean of Postgraduate Research, was the master of Ceremonies
The event was well attended, with at least 200 in attendance. Professor Harding, felt the Colleges were really well represented by the presentations. Harding commented that there was a great diversity of talks, with both domestic and international speakers. The presentations showed the depth of research at UC, clearly showing how cutting edge and topical our work is.
Thank you to the 3 judges: Thomas Gillman (UCSA PG rep), who also works as an administrator at the Centre for European Studies, Associate Professor Annick Masselot (Law), and Associate Professor Brigid McNeill (School of Teacher Education)
Thank you also to the PGSA for providing food and drink.
