Temporary accommodation may be suitable if you and your family are visiting UC or while searching for permanent accommodation.

When to book temporary accommodation

It’s a good idea to book temporary accommodation as soon as possible. You will usually secure a better rate if you book in advance.

Short-term accommodation on campus

Temporary accommodation may be available for individual students at the self-catered Sonoda Christchurch Campus.

Cost

  • $269 NZD per week for a single room, minimum stay of two weeks
