UC offers an Arrival Week Programme for all domestic and international students arriving to study at UC for the first time. It includes an official welcome, information sessions and social activities.

The International Welcome is essential for all students commencing study in Semester One, 2018. The programme will help you get settled to start your semester here as well as a great opportunity to meet fellow students. You must register for the event here.
If you are unable to attend on 12 February, we offer a late welcome on 27 February.

Academic Skills for International Students
This free event is an opportunity to meet other international students new to UC and participate in workshops to prepare you for your studies. To register email email@example.com (NB: enrolment is limited to the first 30 registrations).

UC Orientation Day
UC Orientation Day | Herea tō waka (O Day) is the best way to find out what university life has to offer.
It takes place the Friday before term starts and is a chance for new students to get familiar with the campus, ask questions, make new friends and get sorted for day one at UC.
O Day is exclusive to students new to UC in 2018 but there is also an opportunity for parents to find out more about the university with a range of special orientation events designed for whānau.
Attendance at O day is expected and considered essential for a successful start, so please plan to be here.
