About the Event
Open Christchurch is an annual one-weekend-only festival of exceptional architecture. It’s for everyone in Christchurch.
The 2024 programme is serving up 50 open buildings to explore and 40+ activities for learning more.
Over the course of 4 & 5 May, building owners/kaitiaki of 50 buildings throw open their doors so that locals and visitors can enjoy a first-hand experience of great design, from the inside.
The university has 4 buildings open on Sunday 5 May, 11am-2pm: Rehua, Puaka-James Hight Central Library, Forestry and Jack Erskine. Activities include architecture tours and an all ages, all abilities creative exploration of the campus.
