Qualifications & Memberships
Anna is a Geotechnical Engineer and Project Manager based in Tonkin + Taylor's Christchurch office. Anna has a range of experience including management and supervision of geotechnical site investigations, liquefaction and lateral spreading analyses, seismic assessments, design of deep and shallow foundations, ground improvement, settlement analyses of compressible soils, and construction monitoring. Anna has worked on a range of projects all over New Zealand, including large scale infrastructure jobs, educational, recreational, commercial and residential developments, with a particular focus on geotechnical earthquake engineering.
Anna has a BE(Hons) (2010) and ME (2013) from the University of Canterbury and has been heavily involved in the CNRE final year integrated design course over the last couple of years. She believes that the integration of academic teaching with industry input is critical to UC producing the best possible engineers to enter into our profession.
