eResearch at UC

eResearch Services and Resources

eResearch is the term applied to the use of digital tools to the practice of research. eResearch at UC enables the researcher to generate high impact research through technology, training & support in the use of digital tools. 

As part of our technology services, we operate and maintain the central Research Compute Cluster, a high-performance computer available to all researchers. Our team supports researchers on computation (including high performance computing), visualisation, research data management, software engineering, training & support in the use of digital tools.

Our eResearch Consultancy services are generally free for use by research staff and research students. Please note that some services will be provided upon application. Some bespoke services will require in-depth consultation, analytics, customised solutions, development and may require additional funding.

Our Services

eResearch Clinic

We are a group of colleagues from across UC that are passionate about supporting eResearch. Our eResearch experts volunteer their time weekly to this clinic to meet in person, to support you in using digital tools & techniques to advance your research.

We also provide assistance with research data management principles, research data handling, and can provide practical advice on data storage.

Come see us every Tuesday at 11am in Room 210 (when available) at Puaka James Hight, or at the desks on Level 2. Look for our sign!
