Thesis:
‘Advancing child rights in a changing climate: a critical exploration of deliberative processes involving children in Porirua, Aotearoa New Zealand’
The aim of this thesis is to explore in what ways and to what extent children’s involvement in deliberative processes may advance child rights in climate change in Aotearoa, New Zealand. To address this question, I propose to undertake a critical exploration of children’s involvement in deliberative processes related to a Tiriti-based community climate assembly in Porirua, in the lower North Island / Te Ika-a-Māui.
