Hadi is a Ph.D. student at the Civil and Natural Resources Engineering Department of the University of Canterbury. His research focuses on green energy transition in the agriculture and food industry, with a specific emphasis on utilizing green hydrogen as a sustainable energy source. His work addresses the urgent need for sustainable energy practices in the agricultural sector to combat the effects of climate change.
With a background in electrical engineering - energy systems planning and management, Hadi's experience in PV systems and electrical energy generation in engineering companies in Iran has enabled him to gain expertise in both industrial and academic settings. He is dedicated to developing an effective and reliable framework for the food-water-energy nexus that maintains electrical energy security while promoting sustainability. Hadi's primary research interests include green hydrogen, renewable energy integration, and multi-carrier energy system.
