About Me:

I’m Joshua Adotey from Ghana. I am researching how accountants contribute to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). This journey has been inspired by my passion for sustainability and the desire to explore how accounting practices can drive positive social and environmental change.

Outside of my studies, I love playing table tennis and being outdoors. I also enjoy mentoring others and believe strongly in using my skills to help people and organizations grow.

Publications:

Research Project: Bed Bath and Beyond-A Turnaround Soon? -In this interdisciplinary research project, a combination of both qualitative and quantitative data was used. The study used strategic management accounting theories (PESTEL, Porter’s Five Forces, and SWOT) and basic forecasting models to arrive at a conclusion on the state of the Case Study company at the end of the 2019 financial year.

Research Project: Challenges Facing Organizations Using Computerized Accounting Systems in Ghana. This study emphasized the need for investments in technology, training, and support to overcome the challenges of computerized accounting systems.
