Research Title: Valorization of industrial wastewater to biofertlizers for improved pasture growth and emissions reductions using purple phototropic bacteria

Main Supervisor: Dr. Hamish Mackey

Co-supervisor: Dr. Brett Robinson

Research interests: My research interests focus on the intersection of wastewater treatment and sustainable agriculture. I am particularly interested in developing innovative methods to convert industrial wastewater into valuable biofertilizers, thereby promoting natural resource conservation and reducing environmental pollution. This involves exploring the use of purple phototrophic bacteria for nutrient recycling and enhancing soil health. Additionally, I am keen on investigating the role of biofertilizers in improving soil properties, crop yield, and reducing greenhouse gas emissions, contributing to the overall goal of sustainable and eco-friendly agricultural practices.

Keywords: Wastewater Treatment, Natural Resources, Biofertilizers, Soil, Water & Environmental Science, Sustainability

Personal interests: I enjoy gardening and writing about the production technology of crops. I'm passionate about environmental conservation, engineering solutions for sustainability, and effective natural resources utilization. Additionally, I love playing and watching cricket, which adds a refreshing balance to my professional interests.
