Working Thesis Title
Unlocking the Data Connections: Establishing a Community-Driven Urban Data Centre in Christchurch City to Enhance Open Data Causal Relations.
In our world, various domains like weather, agriculture, transport, business, education, and more are intricately connected by causal relationships. However, many of these connections remain hidden or overlooked. My research seeks to uncover these connections by unlocking the wealth of data available to us. Specifically, I focus on exploring the establishment and operation of a community-driven urban data centre in Christchurch City. This centre serves as a hub for collaboration among community members, policymakers, and researchers, enabling us to extract valuable insights from open data sources. By fostering this collaborative environment, our goal is to empower stakeholders to tackle urban challenges more effectively. Ultimately, we aim to leverage these newfound causal relationships to make informed decisions and drive positive change within Christchurch City and beyond.
