Research Title: Structural Performance of a Multi-Panel Cross Laminated Timber Wall System

Research interests:

Vimesh is a Ph.D. candidate in Forest Engineering at the University of Canterbury. His research focuses on developing high-performance engineered timber-based systems and structures. Specifically, he is investigating the behaviour of multi-panel cross-laminated timber shear walls in lateral loads, contributing to the next generation of sustainable urban development and construction.

Personal interests:

Outside of his academic pursuits, Vimesh enjoys trekking and playing football. Being from the lap of the Himalayas, he has trekked to the base of many mountains, including Mount Everest. He is also captivated by the natural beauty of Aotearoa.
