About Adela:
Adela Kardos, General Counsel and Registrar – Pouroki serves as the University Council Secretary and is the chief legal advisor to the University.
Her portfolio covers Governance, Legal, Policy and Information Management. She also supports the operation of the Vice Chancellor’s Office.
Adela joined the University of Canterbury in 2020 following a career in both private legal practice and almost 10 years as an in-house lawyer in the public sector.
She has a passion for education and enjoys the dynamic environment of the tertiary sector.
Qualifications:
LLB (Hons), BA (Canterbury), CELTA (Cambridge).
