Kia ora koutou, it is a pleasure to be part of the Student Accessibility Service team and help support you along your university journey.
I recently completed my BA in Communication Studies at the University of Otago. Throughout my journey at Otago, I gained help and support from their Student Accessibility Services team. In this role I bring my lived experience as someone who has faced challenges in the education system due to my dyslexia and dyspraxia.
My approach is to listen to you, hear your story and learn about your lived experience and support you to reach your full potential. Ultimately support you to leave the University of Canterbury with the skills and self-belief in yourself to achieve your goals and aspirations.
