Brief bio:
Prof Raj Das leads the ‘Simulation and Modelling’ group of the School of Engineering at RMIT University. He has 25 years of experience in the design, analysis and optimisation of engineering structures with a focus on computational simulation, lightweight structures, and structural integrity for various engineering applications. Prof Das has a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from Monash University. Prof Das has previously worked at the University of Auckland, the CSIRO, and the University of Manchester. Prof Das has published more than 350 papers in international journals and conferences and received several national and international awards and fellowships.
