Kia ora, I am the team leader of Hangarau Āheinga|Assistive Technology (HA|AT).
My passion is to enable you to become self-directed, independent learners and prepare you for the digital world of the future.
Coming from an academic background, this role gives me immense satisfaction in teaching technology-assisted learning methods and providing course information in accessible formats.
Right from the time the department was started, I have had the pleasure and privilege of developing this growing service and supporting high needs students in successfully completing their studies at UC.
My overseas and NZ educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science, a Master of Arts, a Master of Philosophy, a Post Graduate Diploma in Theology and a Doctor of Philosophy in American Studies.
