Design principles

The ten design principles of the campus master plan were informed by user group consultations, interviews, research, and analysis. Key themes emerged from a series of workshops that covered the whole range of users in the university community. Check out our design principles.

Provide locally accessible services and facilities, fit for purpose for different student groups, promoting a sense of disciplinary 'home base' and interaction.

Provide the spaces, connections and conditions that facilitate collaborations between individuals and disciplines.

Reuse Adapt Experiment

Allow for change and innovation in how spaces and places are used.
