For 150 years the University of Canterbury has strived to be a place of excellence in teaching and research by investing in spaces, technology, and people who value learning. The objects seen here speak to the various learning environments and teaching practices used throughout its history, the teaching tools available, and the resourcefulness with which both teachers and students approached their education and research. Classrooms may look different today, and the methodologies and technologies for teaching may have changed too, but the drive to stay ahead of the curve remains.
