Apirana Taylor is an acclaimed poet, short-story writer, novelist, playwright, actor, musician and painter.
His published works include three volumes of poetry, three collections of short stories, a novel and two plays.
He travels throughout New Zealand and internationally as a performance poet and story-teller.
He is of Maori and Pakeha descent with proud affiliation to Ngati Porou, Te Whanau-a-Apanui and
Ngati Ruanui.
