Canterbury Tales
From history and society to science and knowledge, find out the Canterbury Tales exhibition online or in person.
The University of Canterbury and Canterbury Museum each have a long and distinguished history. Between 1873 and 1947 that history was a shared one with both institutions managed by the Canterbury College Board of Governors.
Today the Museum is world-renowned for its natural and human history collections while the University is at the forefront of research and innovation in both the arts and the sciences. Building on a long and fruitful history of cooperation between the two institutions, this exhibition brings together key books and documents from the University Library’s special collections and carefully selected items from the Museum’s rich and varied holdings.
