How did study help you prepare you for your career in rugby?
It pushed me to ask questions and become more confident in my abilities. I tend to be a very organised person, so I found I could organise my time pretty well.
What’s a piece of advice you would give to a woman who’s keen to pursue a career in rugby?
Just show up to a training. The environment’s absolutely outstanding and I’m sure you’d really enjoy it.
What's been a highlight of your time as a Matatū player so far?
Hearing the story of how the name was created as well as the jersey and the colours, it’s been very cool. The depth that’s gone into that is amazing.
What are you looking forward to this season?
Just getting out on the field. It’s been a long time since I’ve played some rugby so I’m very excited.
