What would you do if your friend sank a coal ship in the interests of saving the planet? In 2030 Christchurch, the sea is tearing off mouthfuls of land, toilets hurl their contents into houses, the council is letting suburbs fall apart, and energy quotas keep people home. Julia, Lynda and Fran are running ‘Humans with Stories’ workshops, helping people find common ground and mutual support through storytelling. The group’s cohesion is tested when they discover some of their members bombed a coal ship as a climate-change protest.
