For its 2024 Impact Rankings, Times Higher Education (THE) gave the University of Canterbury a global institutional ranking of =89, placing it among the top 100 universities for Global Impact worldwide.
From the categories the University submitted for consideration, five were ranked in the Top 100, with SDG 12: Responsible Consumption and Production receiving the highest ranking at =10.
