Background
Zane is studying towards an MSc degree in the field of Unmanned Aerial Vehicles under the supervision of Dr Andreas Willig and Dr Graeme Woodward. His thesis is titled Unmanned Aerial Vehicle Based Wireless Location Technology for Search and Rescue.
In a related project, Zane also developed a UAV-based detector for a Massey University project with the aim of determining penguin population densities in the Subantarctic Islands.In addition to his
In addition to his Master's studies, he is also studying Japanese part-time and is interested in applications of FPGAs and embedded systems development in general.
