Bob Hamilton demonstrates a sustained contribution of excellence in student-centred teaching, coaching and supervision in entrepreneurship at UC.
He puts his success down to blending 'real world' case studies with theory, in a lively class environment including varied methods such as short videos and guest speakers. He values student opinions and conducts regular student surveys within his courses which allow him to make changes while the class is still in session.
Bob places emphasis on responding quickly to student e-mails, being available in his office and giving detailed individual feedback on submissions. His influence in teaching and curriculum design is also recognised internationally by his work throughout the world in accrediting business schools via AMBA, the Association of MBAs. He is the coordinator of his department’s PhD programme and has a long and successful track record of PhD supervision.
