Eco Volunteers work with Tari Toitū te Taiao | UC Sustainability Office to increase, support, and promote campus sustainability.
Using the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) as a framework, Eco Volunteer activities include:
- assisting with sustainability events, workshops and communications projects
- getting hands on with the environmental challenges of today – including reducing waste, lowering our UC community's carbon footprint, enhancing campus biodiversity and more
- Supporting other student clubs and groups to achieve their sustainability goals
- and lots of chances to connect and be part of a like-minded community!
