We are incredibly proud to announce that the UC Business School MBA team took home 1st place at the 2024 MBA National Case Competition! (Second 1st place in three years as we got third last year)
Held at Otago University in Dunedin on October 12, the competition brought together six talented teams from Victoria, Auckland, AUT, Waikato, Canterbury, and Otago Universities. Our team – Sarah Velluppillai, Jared Kleinjan, Grace Little, and James Mackenzie – represented UC Business School with excellence, marking our second win in three years!
Months of preparation went into this achievement, and it would not have been possible without the incredible support of Elsamari Botha, Richard Clark, Patrick E.J. ROTTIERS, Ellie Norris, Bob Hamilton, Eldrede Kahiya, Gerard Quinn, Megan Blakely, Jasmine Clark, and Kosalee Weerasinghe.
As one of the team members said: “Our result is truly a testament to the high-quality program and the talented lecturers we are fortunate to learn from. I hope you take pride in knowing you’ve played a significant role in our success. We gained far more from the experience than we anticipated. The process has not only boosted our confidence, but also allowed us to apply many of the skills and lessons we've been learning in our courses.”
A huge congratulations to the team and everyone who supported them!
