Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm
Saturday & Sunday, 1:00pm – 5:00pm
Engineering & Physical Sciences (EPS) Library
Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm
Saturday & Sunday, Closed
Macmillan Brown (MB) Library
Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm
Saturday & Sunday, Closed
Libraries Closed
- Friday 6 December 2024 (All libraries close at 12pm for Library Staff Christmas Lunch)
- Monday 23 December 2024 (All libraries close at 4:00pm for the summer holiday) *MB will close early for the year, at 5:00pm on Friday 20 December
- Tuesday 24 December 2024 – Tuesday 2 January 2025 (inclusive) (All libraries closed for Christmas/New Year Break)
- Thursday 6 February 2025 (All libraries closed for Waitangi Day)
Libraries Re-open
- Central Library & EPS Library re-open at 8:30am on Friday 3 January 2025
- Macmillan Brown will re-open at 8:30am on Monday 6 January 2025
Other UC Key Dates
- Monday 17 February 2025 (Lectures start for Semester One)
After hours returns boxes will be open over the break (you will need your Canterbury Card to access PJH box as the Undercroft will be Canterbury Card access only, but EPS and MB boxes will be accessible without a card). Items will be cleared from your library account when libraries re-open, with a return date of 23rd December.
