Civil & Natural Resources Engineering Professor Misko Cubrinovski
Three teams from the University of Canterbury have been awarded funding from Toka Tū Ake EQC to fill knowledge gaps and further improve engineering practices, land-use planning and building design to boost resilience.
Three UC Professors will each lead a project; Professor Misko Cubrinovski will focus on the Assessment and Mitigation of Liquefaction Hazards. Dr Timothy Stahl’s project will be about Resilience to Earthquake and Landslide Multi-Hazards, and Professor Brendon Bradley’s research will look at Next-generation seismic hazard analysis for NZ.
