Voices in the Air: Sarah Johnston on 100 years of radio

Sarah Johnston, a librarian at the University of Canterbury’s Macmillan Brown Library, is looking back at the past 100 years of Aotearoa New Zealand's broadcasting.

100 years ago, an experimental radio broadcast took place which signaled the arrival of this brand new technology, radio broadcasting, in Aotearoa. Sarah Johnston, who also researches Second World War radio recordings, talks about this great milestone on Radio NZ.
