Deane Thomas

Biodegradable casing

Deane Thomas has a MProd, and she’s passionate about an eco-friendly economy. During her UCBI summer project, Thomas aimed to 3D-print a biodegradable filament casing for long life lures. She says "I didn’t know what I was capable of until I put myself forward for this." Her message to other students is "Don’t count yourself out early, give everything a go.”
