Industrial Engineering and Management

Industrial engineering is an interdisciplinary area of research that seeks to optimise production processes. It includes an element of engineering design, manufacturing, or materials science, and combines that with elements of modelling/simulation, psychology, biomechanics, commerce, or management. Engineering management is an overlapping but distinct research area, which is primarily focussed on the organisation of people into teams and organisations

Current Postgraduate Opportunities

Project Title: Open topic

Project summary: Prospective students may negotiate a research topic based on their interests. We are open to receiving a brief research objective, along with some journal references on how others have approach the topic, and a proposed method statement.

Funding/stipend: No funding allocated.  Applicants are encouraged to apply for UC Doctoral scholarship.
