We are investigating amine-borane systems as potential hydrogen storage compounds. We have investigated a range of cyclic systems with some promising results, we now seek to extend this to other group 13/15 combinations. This project involves synthesis of the proposed systems, data collection using gas electron diffraction and other appropriate analytical methods as well as a full computational study of reaction pathways, catalytic pathways and structures.
