Software Engineering Speed Interview Event

The Department of Computer Science and Software Engineering invites you to participate in a Speed Interview Event with industry employers on July 19th from 1:30-3:30 pm, held in Rooms 222 and 223 (Drawing Office), Level 2, Rātā Building.

This event offers a unique opportunity for you to meet industry professionals and participate in brief interviews for summer work experience, part-time employment, or future graduate roles (not Final Year Projects). Employers will spend approximately 10 minutes with individual students, discussing potential opportunities and assessing your interest and suitability. This serves as an excellent initial introduction to identify potential employment opportunities.

To participate, you will need to book a free ticket with an employer using the associated booking links below. Tickets are for an assigned 10-minute period during the event from 1:30-3:30 pm. You may book up to 4 interviews with different employers, but please ensure you do not book yourself into two interviews during the same 10-minute period. Please book before 5PM 16th July. 

Lastly, for those who book, please advise us if you are unable to attend or change your mind. It is much better for us to provide the opportunity to another student than to have the employer waiting for an interview that does not occur.  Cancellations can be sent to scott.collier@canterbury.ac.nz
