UC's Master of Advanced Nursing (Nurse Practitioner) offers a Nursing Council approved pathway for registered nurses to advance their knowledge and skills to apply to become a maātanga tapuhi (nurse practitioner).
The programme is offered online through Tuihono UC | UC Online with onsite intensives at our Ilam or Manawa campuses for some courses.
The MAdvNurs is made up of a total 240 points, which includes six compulsory courses and a clinical placement course of a minimum 300 hours.
Beginning in February or July, the programme will take 2 years full-time, or 4 years part-time.
