UC’s Postgraduate Certificate in Cyber Security (PGCertCySec) offers fully online study developing your awareness of cyber risk and threats with skills in digital defence.

Our growing reliance on data and digital environments has also increased our exposure to cyber threats, and we need more graduates with the skills to build and maintain secure systems and networks.
The Postgraduate Certificate in Cyber Security (PGCertCySec) will upskill your knowledge and technical expertise in cybersecurity and specialise your career towards roles in risk analysis, penetration testing, and security operations.
The certificate is offered fully online through Tuihono UC | UC Online.
The PGCertCySec is made up of a total 60 points, which includes four compulsory courses.
Beginning in February or July, the programme will take 6 months full-time, or up to 1 year part-time to complete.
