Introduction
The Albatross from Applied Aeronautics is the latest purchase and is due to arrive soon. With a 3m wingspan, this will be Earth & Environment's biggest UAV to date. This will be capable of carrying 4-5kg of payload and can fly for up to 2 hours. This will be used extensively for research both in New Zealand, Antarctica and the Southern Ocean.
