HOW TO APPLY
UC's Master’s degrees expand your knowledge with new professional skills and experience so you can launch your business career in New Zealand.

Open to students of any study background, our Business Master's are designed to introduce you to end-to-end business processes within 1 to 2 years so you can change careers or prepare for higher positions in industry.

Our programmes include coursework and either practical or research projects. Some also include internships and other applied experiences as part of the degree.

Master's degree options

UC offers a wide range of internationally recognised, globally transferrable postgraduate programmes.

Most of our Business Master’s programmes are open to students from any subject background.

You will need to have previously completed a university bachelor’s degree with a minimum grade point average (GPA) in your previous studies and/or related work experience.

We also have minimum requirements in written and spoken English language. UC provides online English language courses to help you meet these requirements if needed.

 

When should I apply?

We recommend you contact us to start your application at least six months before your planned start date to allow enough time for us to work with you on your requirements and to apply for a student visa.

UC’s start dates are Semester One (February) and Semester Two (July).

Depending on the Master’s degree you choose, study fees can range from NZ$48,000 - $62,000 (based on 2025 fees).

Additional costs include a Student Services Levy and health and travel insurance.

Work while you study

Your student visa will also allow you to do work part-time while you study, and also do full-time work hours over university breaks and during the summer months.

Stay and work in New Zealand after graduating

You can apply for a Post Study Work Visa after you finish your degree to stay in New Zealand and work full-time for a duration.
