Flicking the Female Leadership Switch

09 September 2024

Are you interested in leading yourself and others? Our short course, 'Flicking the Female Leadership Switch' provides an introduction to the pathways to leadership for women. Learn more.

HOW TO APPLY

Start exploring your leadership pathway as a woman.

This one-day introductory course will help you begin to understand your own pathway to leadership potential, recognising the formidable skills you have that can be transferred to leadership roles. This prompt is necessary as despite our strengths in areas such as empathy, communication and conflict resolution, we often have self-doubts that hold us back from our leadership potential.

What will you gain?

You will learn about your leadership style, focus on the professional development needed to achieve your future goals and learn ideas for lifting your leadership profile.

You will leave with tools that can be used immediately in your current job and the confidence and focus needed to propel you on your leadership journey in future roles.

Course structure

This one-day course will benefit aspirational women from diverse industries including commercial, local government, not for profit or education. You will learn about:

  • Your own leadership style and awareness of how others might perceive you.
  • Self-leadership
  • Team leadership
  • Professional development ideas & workshops.
  • Discussions with other female leaders.
  • Common challenges women face in the workplace and how to navigate them.
  • Group discussions
  • A new peer group - sometimes these contacts can support you and your superpowers.
