Course structure 

This course is designed and delivered by supply chain experts aiming to familiarise forward-thinking leaders with the essential tools, technologies and approaches that are required to design, plan, manage and optimise the complex supply chains of today.

As facilitators, our role is to encourage participants to engage with knowledge at a deeper and more interactive level, working with what they are learning in the real-world sense, rather than just passively taking information on board.  The programme therefore is structured to provide participants with ample opportunity to engage and interact with the facilitator and other course participants


Course Facilitator

Alan Win

Alan Win, Professor of Practice, is a respected management consultant and educator in logistics, supply chain and value chain management with over 45 years’ experience working with some 150+ private, public, governmental, and not-for profit organisations across 12 countries and most industry verticals.  He also a director and sits on the Board of 10 companies in New Zealand and Australia. 

In addition to providing strategic advice to established corporate clients (national and multinational), Alan has been instrumental in the framing of logistics and supply chain strategies for more than a dozen new company start-ups, including major brands such as Yoplait, Pepsi-cola, Maium (a global joint venture between Jim Beam, Remy Martin, Highland Distillers & Vin & Sprit).

For the past 22 years in addition to project-based consulting and education, Alan’s company has also provided Fourth Party Logistics (4PL), through embedding team within client organisations on a long-term basis to deliver value through proactively managing that organisations supply chain on a day-to-day basis.

Alan is a Certified Management Consultant (approximately only 2% of consultants worldwide are certified), is a Past President and Fellow of the Institute of Management Consultants.  He also holds a number of other logistics and supply chain qualifications including ML&SCM, MCIPS, MCILT, and CPIM.
