CUP Conditional Entry
Interview
We interview all CUP applicants to discuss the programme and to work out the best pathway into degree study for you.
We have Student Advisors who conduct the interview and monitor your progress and well-being throughout your CUP studies.
Interviews can be done either on campus or via Teams.
Please book an interview with a CUP Student Advisor:
For Māori applicants - Book time with Rebecca Morris
For Pasifika applicants - Book time with Tohoa Tetini
For all other applicants:
For Science, *Engineering and Commerce - Book time with Alex Neiman
For Arts, Law, Social Science, Education and all other degrees - Book time with Clare de Goldi
Maths Assessment - This must be booked to take place BEFORE the interview
* If you have selected TRNS007 Preparatory Maths or TRNS008 Fundamentals of Physics you will need to book a diagnostic maths assessment before your interview; the results will help us identify your maths level and an appropriate programme of study.
This Worksheet will assist you in preparing for the maths assessment.
The maths assessment can be done via Teams. and needs to take place prior to the interview.

20 January, 9:30-10:30am – Join the Maths Test
27 January, 9:30-10:30am – Join the Maths Test
Friday Options:
10 January, 2:00-3:00pm – Join the Maths Test
17 January, 2:00-3:00pm – Join the Maths Test
24 January, 2:00-3:00pm – Join the Maths Test
31 January, 2:00-3:00pm – Join the Maths Test
