Cubby holes, skateboard racks and small valuables
There are a number of cubby holes around the centre, if you just want to stash your bag for your workout. These are not secure, so you leave things at your own risk (but we do have camera surveillance).
Store your board
Skateboard wall racks are provided, please use them to keep the floors clear of tripping hazards.
Small valuables
Valuables can be left with reception, at your own risk. We will only hold onto small items (wallets, keys, cellphones).
Free daily lockers
Limited DAILY USE lockers are available in the Men's and Women's changing rooms and the main gym corridor. Keys are stored in the locker of each locker. Please lock your belongings, take the key, and leave it in the locker door when finished.
Permanent lockers
Regular users may decide they need permanent storage at the RecCentre.
Purchase a locker
- Half year $30, Full year $60
- Notices will be emailed to users 14-day prior to the end date of their rental.
- All gear must be removed from lockers before the specified end date.
- Items that remain in lockers after this time will be removed, bagged up and left at reception for 1-month. UC Rec&Sport will not be responsible for any reimbursements for any locks that must be cut to open a locker past its rental period.
- BYO locks (available for purchase at our reception desk).
Selecting a locker
- Look for a blank locker number in the location you want (make sure it doesn't have a sticker 'DAILY USE ONLY' already on it). These lockers are available for permanent use.
- Advise reception of the number at the time of purchase and we'll double-check it is available before issuing it to you.
UC RecCentre is not responsible for any lost, damaged or stolen items while stored in lockers, or for those cleared or removed from misused lockers. We will store cleared gear/toiletries for 1-month before disposal.
Any problems
If there is a problem with a locker please let our reception team know right away. Locker issues may not be resolved right away. You can expect to be contacted by our staff within 24-hours to get access into a locker.
