Trade Commissioner, UK and Ireland, New Zealand Trade and Enterprise
Nick is New Zealand's trade commissioner to London, where he is responsible for promoting and facilitating trade opportunities and strategic relationships for New Zealand businesses in the United Kingdom and Ireland.
He previously served as NZTE's regional director for South America. He has also worked for NZTE in New Zealand as director of marketing and brand, and was involved in the inter-agency development of the New Zealand Story – an initiative that defines what makes us uniquely New Zealand and supports the communication of our value to the world.
Before joining NZTE in 2012, Nick spent eight years with Auckland University of Technology as group director for marketing and communications. Prior to that, he worked in the environmental sciences and information and communications technology industries.
Nick holds a degree in biochemistry and genetics and a postgraduate degree in management, both from the University of Canterbury.
