Be part of the UC TEAM Experience!
Congratulations on making your decision to "have a go" for the City2Surf event. The UC Rec & Sport team are excited to support your journey into the “possible”.
We have designed a safe and achievable 6-week plan. This is going to be fun and safe to get you moving, get outside and provide the support you need to make that first step. The main goal is to finish the event, enjoy the experience and the atmosphere of the day and to use the 6-week programme to kick start something for your health, wellbeing, and life going forward.
Back in the City
- Sunday, 17th March 2024
- Back again on the original course from Latimer Square to New Brighton! Follow the Avon River and the Ōtākaro trail, winding our way to Rawhiti Domain for an awesome finish.
- A true city to surf event, a course with unique scenery, and something you won’t want to miss out on!
- Choose from walkers, wheelers/aids, wannabe joggers or joggers for either the 12km (Latimer Square Start) or 6km (Porritt Park Start) course.
- Don't worry about what level you decide to embark on now, we'll help you in the first week to figure out the best fit and you can change groups if it's not quite right.
