Julia Wynands has been awarded a 2021 University of Canterbury Haupatu Scholarship for Sport. She will remain here in Canterbury after completing her schooling at Villa Maria College, and will be studying a Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Arts majoring in Pscychology.
Julia is a highly talented netballer, having gained selection in the New Zealand Secondary Schools Squad, and was the only school student in the Mainland Beko Team last year. She has also been selected as a training partner with the Mainland Tactix this year!
