UC offers free courses to MBA graduates

20 February 2023

A new initiative offers Master of Business Administration graduates the ability to enrol in one free course each year.

HOW TO APPLY

University of Canterbury Master of Business Administration (MBA) Director Associate Professor Elsamari Botha says a new programme will allow graduates to keep learning and developing.

UC Business School has launched the Commitment to Continuous Learning (CCL) programme for UC MBA alumni, becoming the first MBA programme in New Zealand to offer this type of opportunity to graduates.

UC MBA Director Associate Professor Elsamari Botha says the CCL programme is part of the University’s 150th Anniversary celebrations and demonstrates its commitment to providing students with the resources and support they need to keep developing long after graduation.

"Our goal is to provide a dynamic learning environment where students can reach their full potential and have impact, and the CCL programme is just one more way we are working to achieve that."

Starting in 2023, the CCL programme is open to all UC MBA alumni, regardless of when they graduated, and provides a flexible and convenient way for them to continue learning.

“Whether they want to deepen their knowledge in a particular area or explore a new field, UC MBA alumni can take advantage of this unique opportunity to enhance their careers,” Associate Professor Botha says.
