Chinese Tea House
The Chinese Tea House is an opportunity for anyone to practise speaking Chinese with a native speaker or to learn more about Chinese culture. It is offered by the Confucius Institute at the University of Canterbury and is open to everyone – staff, students and the general public included.
Chinese Tea House is held every Tuesday and Thursday throughout the year. The sessions are from 11am - 12pm in Room 213, 2nd Floor, James Logie Building. All UC staff and students who are interested in the Chinese language and culture, or for practicing Chinese calligraphy and playing Mahjong are welcome to participate.
