Jean Monnet Centre of Excellence in New Zealand

 

The NCRE is uniquely well-placed as the only entity in the wider Asia-Pacific that offers a comprehensive EU teaching and research agenda comprising of an undergraduate major in “EU and European Studies”, taught Masters in “The EU in the Asia Pacific” and PhD theses on European Integration topics.

HOW TO APPLY

Through the “NEXT” Jean Monnet grant, the NCRE Centre of Excellence is able to offer students scholarships, internships, and specialist presentations from European experts in EU studies.

This site will serve as a focal point for all information involved in the Centre of Excellence. 

Calls for civil society participants and early career researchers to participate in symposia will be announced on the webpage.

EUD Internship - Postgraduate Master of European Union Studies student, Kat Lee, has been selected for an internship at the EU Delegation to NZ, Wellington from 29 August – 1 December 2024. Kat’s living expenses will be funded through an NCRE Centre of Excellence grant from the EU (NEXT) that will contribute to her airfares, accommodation, and incidentals.  We warmly congratulate Kat on her selection.
